I have been working with, educating myself, and embracing the many gifts from Spirit for over a decade now and loving every minute of it! I am a fourth-generation Medium and Intuitive and Usui Reiki Master/Teacher. My maternal Grandmother (Ceal), her siblings, and parents were also Mediums and Intuitives and that same part of my family has a strong background in Spiritualism. My Great-Uncle Frank was also a wonderful healer that would often channel Spirits when they would hold family "circles" at my Gram's home.
Everyone always asks me, "When did you know you had these abilities?" The answer is pretty easy even as a child, a part of me always knew that I had some of these abilities. I often remember seeing Spirits or knowing things before they would happen. But as an adolescent, it was just easier to chalk up certain situations as coincidences, rather than admitting to myself that I was experiencing a message or phenomena from Spirit. For the longest time I never really knew what to do with these gifts I was given or how to really use them. With the help of my Gram (Ceal), who was my first mentor and teacher, my Spirit Guides, the Divine Parent, many wonderful mentors and healers, and those friends and family who have supported me along this road, I feel as though I have only begun to venture down the path that Spirit has laid down before me.
Besides being a Medium, I am also a "Mommy" to two wonderful children, Ethan and Celia they are a constant source of inspiration and amazement to my husband and I spiritually!
What My Work Entails...In addition to doing Private Consultations for clients Nationally and Internationally, I also teach several classes on Intuitive and Mediumship Development, Reiki (Levels 1, 2, A.R.T., and Master), and various workshops covering a number of interesting topics. I also appeared in an article and on the front page of The Troy Record newspaper, and was featured as a "Woman of the Week" in Russell Sage College's newspaper.
I especially enjoy working as a Medium, because it allows me to help people in so many ways. Being able to connect a client with a Spirit Guide/Guardian Angel, loved-one, friend, or even a pet who is in Spirit is a wonderful feeling. And because I work as a Medium, my intuitive skills play a big part in listening to Spirit; those abilities fall hand-in-hand with my Mediumship, hence creating a well-rounded consultation.
During the past year I have made several guest appearances on "Natural Instincts with Dr. Carol Tunney" which is featured on WTBN 1370am, based out of Bennington, Vermont. And, I am currently on the "Mulrooney in the Morning" radio show on 104.9 The Edge (Albany, NY) on Monday mornings at 7am.
For several years now, I have been contacted to do Intuitive or Mediumistic Consultations and speaking engagements for many Businesses large and small across the State; Community Groups and Organizations; University Classes; Therapists and Social Workers; Local and State Police Departments; and Real Estate Agents/New Home Buyers.
I just finished working with a very talented Creative Recordist and Composer to record my very first Guided Meditation CD, "Beginnings," which is now available purchase. We'll be starting to work on a second Guided Meditation CD in this series, at some point in the late Fall of 2009.
With every Consultation, every Healing Session, and every moment I'm engaged in communication with Spirit, I feel as though I am learning and growing. I wholeheartedly believe that there is no limit to where we can grow spiritually and I only hope that someday I am as talented as those who have helped mentor me along the way; for I feel so blessed for being in their presence and studying with their gifts.
