Nini Gridley, MS Ed, is a Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher, a dynamic workshop leader and a holistic healer, who weaves in-depth study of the chakras with her expertise in child development into a process for deep healing. Nini has been offering individual sessions, as well as meditations and workshops on the chakras through her private practice, Full Spectrum Healing™, since 1995. Internationally registered as a "Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner" since 2002, she utilizes Dr. Edward Bach's 38 original flower essences in her healing practice with children and adults. She teaches "Retreat and Renewal" workshops at Kripalu Center, the largest and most established Yoga center in the U.S., located in Lenox, Massachusetts. Her teaching has been featured at libraries, schools, churches, community colleges and many Yoga centers throughout Connecticut and New York. She has a Master's Degree in Education from Bank Street College of Education (NY, NY) and a B.A. in Child Development and Education from Connecticut College (New London, CT). Her first meditation CD, MoonWish, contains a "manifestation meditation" designed for use at the New Moon, the most auspicious time for fresh starts and new beginnings. Nini leads interested groups in a monthly meditation practice called "MoonWishing" at various Yoga centers in Saratoga Springs, NY. This practice is an opportunity to align your prayers and intentions with the Divine mystery for co-creation. It is a hopeful optimistic practice which brings light to the darkness of our secret wishes. Our ancestors in many cultures knew that, as in the night sky, the light always returns, so conscious co-creation with the Universe can bring forth the divine light in all of us. What do you hope to manifest? Plant it, nurture it? Make a conscious relationship with the manifesting current of your chakras; add intention to your creativity and see what develops. If over time obstacles are revealed by your practice you can heal them and become more aware of your own needs for love, compassion and healing. Private healing sessions with Nini can be held in person or over the telephone. Bach Flower Essence combination remedies are often included in her work with children and adults. Small groups for Bach Flower Essence education are scheduled as requested.

Full Spectrum Healing™
This workshop is a lively and informative introduction to the chakra system with an opportunity for students to open and energize their chakras through a gentle guided meditation. The initial segment includes discussion of a "Table of Correspondences" handout, which illustrates clearly the principles of each of the seven major centers of energy in the body as discussed in the many writings of Anodea Judith, PhD. Discussion includes the qualities of each chakra as they relate to the light spectrum, the elements, the physical body, and glandular system. The behavioral characteristics of balanced, excessive and deficient chakras are offered as discussion permits with awareness of the benefits of yoga and Self study as essential to healing. Insights into illnesses, child development, negative emotions, and restrictive patterning as they relate to the awakening of the true Self are encouraged. The teaching is followed by a guided meditation which opens and investigates the individual chakras using light and color. The meditation concludes with introspective writing which leads to group sharing to complete the period of integration. References for further study are provided on the handout as well as suggestions for further study.

Ways of Wishing
In this presentation, Nini teaches and demonstrates the manifesting and liberating principles, or downward and upward currents, of energy in the chakras. Becoming more aware of this flow of our subtle energy allows us to consciously create changes in our selves and our world. She clarifies the differences between prayer, a call to a deity "up and out", and intention, a declaration "down and in" like a coin in a fountain or a seed in the earth. The principles of the major energy centers are shown to support this process which can be learned and practiced daily with ease and simplicity. Learn to make your most important wishes become reality. This workshop includes discussion, teaching of the principles, a guided meditation and a period of integrative writing. It is particularly auspicious when scheduled at the new moon, just as the light is returning; the cosmic forces of the Universe join us to increase the powers of manifestation.
