Sarah Gold is the founder of Gold Law Firm in Albany, NY, where she works with small for-profit and not-for-profit businesses to help them with their issues. She is also a lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) on Business Law and Ethics. She has her B.A. from University at Albany and her J.D. from Albany Law School.
She is extensively involved with the New York State Bar Association. She is Past Chair of the Business Law and Young Lawyers Sections as well as a member of NYSBA’s Executive Committee and House of Delegates. She is co-chair of the Small and Solo Committee of the Albany County Bar Association.
She is well versed in alternative modalities, having had a number of clients practicing in those fields. She understands the nature of licensure within New York, and advises clients on unauthorized practice as well as best protecting personal assets from liabilities of practice.
