Sarah LoBisco, ND, IFMCP, has been involved in wellness for over 13 years. She became interested in becoming a naturopathic doctor when she was able to heal from two herniated discs through nutrition, essential oils, yoga, supplementation, and chiropractic. She then sought to be a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) by attending the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM). She is currently licensed in Vermont and is a certified practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). She is also certified in Applied Kinesiology and holds a BA in psychology from SUNY Geneseo.
Sarah always strives to learn more to help others and has mentored with holistic, naturopathic medicine, and functional medicine practices throughout New York, Vermont, and Connecticut. In addition to naturopathic medicine and functional medicine training, she has extensive experience in a variety of healing modalities, including therapeutic essential oils, nutraceuticals, herbs, whole food supplements, nutritional medicine, and mind-body therapies.
Sarah views healthcare as an empowering way that works with the body. Rather than fighting a disease, she believes that if a person is supported properly, the body can re-balance and function optimally. In order to provide this, she incorporate the training she received in the basic medical sciences and the core clinical sciences with the philosophy of naturopathic, functional, and mind-body medicine. This approach unifies biological science with a belief in the body’s innate healing ability. Symptoms are viewed not as something to suppress, but as clues that the body provides. These can be decoded to find the root cause of the issue. Once this is achieved, bodily symptoms are no longer necessary and cease.
No one should have to live in the belief system that restoring wholeness and optimal functioning is unattainable. Sarah believes everyone should be treated as an individual within a holistic model in which clients and healthcare providers work as a team.
Her desire is to create a healthcare environment where her clients thrive, not just survive.

“Working with Dr. Sarah over the last 9 months has done more for my overall health than Western medicine has done for the past 30 years! After being on multiple prescription medications for over 18 years, I have transitioned off all medications and am able to control allergies and migraines with diet and supplements. I saw various specialists over the years, however Dr. Sarah was the one who took the time to intuitively study my lab results, look for patterns, and draw conclusions that other practitioners were not able to see. Her intelligence and knowledge of the biochemical mechanisms for ailments and disease along with my tangible results make me very confident in working with Dr. Sarah. If only we had more practitioners like her.” — Kate C.
“I don’t know where to start in thanking Dr. LoBisco for her compassion and integrity. I have always believed that our body is capable of being healed by God. I know he sometimes sovereignty heals, but I also know he uses doctors and the wisdom he gives them. In the almost 2 years I have worked with Dr. Lobisco, I have learned to listen to my body and she has helped me get to the bottom of many chronic symptoms. She has listened intently and worked diligently using labs and her vast knowledge to identify issues, mostly with my immune system. At this point, I have become asymptomatic! I believe with prayer, correct supplementation and allowing my body to come back in to balance, I truly feel “healed”!! I will continue to use Dr. LoBisco as my “go to” physician for anything that may come up with confidence that she will always use her listening ear and healing heart to point me in the right direction for a long, healthy life!” — Roxanne S.
